About NH Food Bank's Summer Nutrition Programs
USDA’s Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids
USDA’s Summer Nutrition Program for Kids (SUN Programs) is a federally-funded, state-administered program which provides kids and teens with access to tasty, nutritious meals during the summer months.
Operated under the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), this program distributes breakfast and lunch to kids at safe, supervised, accessible sites such as libraries and schools.
Summer Meals: What We Do
NH Food Bank administers and supports summer nutrition programs in areas of the state that may lack the financial and administrative capacity to provide summer meals, and has historically had a specific focus on ensuring Coös, Carroll and Grafton Counties and the Keene-area have the resources they need to serve meals to children during the summer. NH Food Bank works closely with the NH Department of Education to meet USDA Food and Nutrition Services guidelines.
USDA Non-Discrimination Statement.
